The M-46 was in our standard range until 2004. It was as well-equipped as the M-54, but with rosewood back and sides. Then it has been taken off the list without replacement, because the code number "46" was kind of irritating. The "46" was originally intended to mark a higher class model, but after the introduction and new-arrangement of the Lakewood wood-codes it lead to confusion, as the model came with rosewood back and sides and should have been named M-32 custom (the 32 is the code for rosewood). The M-46 has been built with 44mm and also 46mm (then called "New Profile") necks.
