Why walnut is not one of the most popular tonewoods in instrument making? We honestly do not know. With colour and figuring like this, how could anyone resist? Tonally, Caucasian walnut sits somewhere between mahogany and rosewood. It offers beautiful clarity, balanced mids and a warm, controlled bass. Its pleasant, delicate highs never become intrusive. In our Premium rosette, the yew binding flows gently into the walnut of the back. The decorative purfling joints are precisely mitred, while the Folia fingerboard inlay is crafted from a carefully selected variety of fine woods. The “Aura” surrounding this guitar does not overwhelm you at first glance. But once it has drawn you in, you will find yourself completely under its spell.
